In her years as a writer for the New York Times, Lola wrote extensively for the paper’s Arts & Leisure and Stylesections. Her work with the NewYork Times immediately attracted the attention of news and entertainment outlets and soon Lola began regularly appearing ontelevision, offering her fresh take on all of the most important headlines of the day.After nearly six years at the NewYork Times, she joined CNN as an entertainment correspondent for the network’s flagship show American Morning. While a tCNN, she covered the inauguration of President Barack Obama, banner red carpet events and breaking news. Lola, who is Nigerian American, also interviewed African newsmakers for CNN International’s popular series African Voices.
In addition to her work on screen, Lola has a thriving print career.
