Abigail DeAtley is the Associate Vice President of Development at Planned Parenthood of New York City. In her role, Abigail furthers PPNYC’s vision of advancing sexual and reproductive equity through fundraising partnerships with flagship brands, creating and realizing major fundraising events, and connecting individual donors to Planned Parenthood’s vital work. Abigail fosters the symbiotic relationship between the art & culture community and Planned Parenthood--which has resulted in events like Choice Works, an art auction chaired byMarilyn Minter, Cindy Sherman, and Laurie Simmons that raised over $2.5 million to support the work of Planned Parenthood locally andnationally. These partnerships help to ensure that PPNYC can continue to provide health care to the over 60,000 New Yorkers who rely on them each year, regardless of their ability topayor immigration status. Abigail co-founded Call Them Out, Florida!, an organizing campaign against TRAP laws in her home state of Florida.Sheiscurrently pursuing her MPA in Public and Nonprofit Management & Policy at New York University's Wagner School. Abigail lives in Brooklyn with her beloved dog Beatrice and spends her free time reading and training for the New York City marathon.
