Alma Har'el isan Israeli-American music videos, commercials and film director, best known for her documentary Bombay Beach, which took the top prize atthe 2011 Tribeca Film Festival, received a nomination for an Independent Spirit "Truer than Fiction" award and has been taught in several universities, including NYU and the Harvard’s Sensory Ethnography Lab and Film Center, as a genre redefining work.

In 2016 she premiered her newest film "LoveTrue" at the Tribeca Film Festival. Executive produced by Shia LaBeouf, the film went onto win the Grand Prix Best Documentary Award at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and is currently showing on Netflix.

Har'el also founded "Free The Bid", a non profit that has gotten over 40adagencies world wide and brands like HP, Visa, Airbnb and eBay to pledge for atleast one woman director bid on every commercial they produce.  In 2016 she won the 3% conference award for creating the biggest change forgender equality in the advertising industry.  

Har'el is currently working on her first narrative TV series.
