Garance Doré is a photographer, illustrator, writer and founder of the eponymous site www.atelierdore.com, formerly www.garancedore.com, a leading source for fashion and lifestyle content for the last decade.

Doré has established a distinctive and uninhibited intellectual point of view that developed a close relationship with her readers over the years as she communicates and tell stories in exciting and intimate ways. Her quick-witted humor, relaxed eloquence and authentic voice has garnered her over a million followers on social media from all over the world.

Over the years, both as a writer and photographer, Doré has contributed to publications including American, British, and Paris Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, T Magazine, Elle, The Guardian, and New York Magazine. In 2012, The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) awarded her with the Eugenia Sheppard Media Award, the industry’s most prestigious prize in journalism, along with Scott Schuman.

In 2015, Doré released her first book, Love Style Life. The New York Times best-selling book is a visual memoir that invites readers into her inner world from her childhood in Corsica, to her rebellious teens in the South of France, to the frontline of fashion in Paris and New York. The book is full of Doré’s photography, illustrations and writing, in addition to interviews with her influential friends and style-icons Emmanuelle Alt, Drew Barrymore, Diane Von Furstenberg and Jenna Lyons. It has now been published in American English, UK English, French, German, Polish, Russian, Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) and is being released in more languages throughout 2016.

Last year, Doré launched Pardon My French a podcast that she hosts and converses with friends, colleagues and leading professionals in their respective fields. As a podcast, Pardon My French allows for uninterrupted conversation with people that Doré greatly respects and is inspired by in discussions covering a range of subjects including friendship, love, the spotlight and self acceptance. Doré has found a way to fuse art and business like none other. She has creatively collaborated with brands including Armani, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Omega, Matches Fashion, Chopard, Altuzarra, Estée Lauder, NARS, L’Oréal, Warner Brothers, Vince and Gap. Her illustrations can also be found in her namesake brand with Rifle Paper Co, which includes stationary and other gifts. Doré has spread her artistic vision across these brands, setting a trend of classic subtlety throughout.

Originally from Corsica, Garance now resides in Los Angeles.
